In 2012, Christian Eiroa and Robert Caldwell introduced Wynwood Cigars, an artistically focused brand that was produced in the Wynwood Cigar Factory in... you guessed it, the Wynwood neighborhood in Miami. The initial project lasted a little over a year before the two parted ways, leaving the Wynwood brand behind. But Eiroa has since decided to rebrand and reintroduce the Wynwood name to the modern cigar enthusiast. Christian Eiroa, of the famed Eiroa family (and owner of C.L.E. Cigars), brings a familiar name back to the market with Wynwood Hills.
Wynwood Hills comes in three blends, all the same size: 4½ × 50. The Wynwood Hills Deranged has a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper; the Wynwood Hills Mayhem has an Authentic Corojo wrapper (the Eiroa family is famous for their Corojo seed); and the Wynwood Hills Unhinged has an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf. Both the Unhinged and Deranged blends utilize Dominican and Honduran fillers, while the Mayhem cigar features 100% Corojo throughout the entire blend. All three cigars are medium to full in body, with each showcasing a unique flavor profile.
