Warzone by Espinosa

Espinosa Warzone is the surprising collaboration between Espinosa Premium Cigars and General Cigar Company. The coming together of these two entities is particularly noteworthy, as Espinosa is a fan-favorite in the craft-minded portion of the premium cigar scene, while General is among the largest cigar makers on the planet. By joining forces, Espinosa gained access to General's famed inventories of exotic African Cameroon tobacco wrappers, as well as their extensive distribution network throughout the world, while General asserted themselves into the humidors of the most die-hard cigar enthusiasts available.

Borrowing General's African Cameroon, the Espinosa and General teams collaborated on the Warzone's remaining blend, selecting a Honduran binder and fillers of Nicaraguan and Colombian tobaccos. The final blend was then rolled at Espinosa's burgeoning La Zona factory, located in the heart of Estelí, Nicaragua. Named for the Ten Years' War that took place from 1868–1878, affording Cuba its independence from Spain, Warzone offers something truly new for smoking enthusiasts. This is not a cigar with intent to assault the palate; instead, it brings a more sweet and flavor-forward take on the Cameroon style cigar than many are accustomed to. The cigar is medium in intensity, jumping out of the gate with buttered toast and cinnamon, then latching onto the palate with an irresistible brown sugar sweetness and added complexities of cedar, buttery coffee, and zesty baking spices.

This is a cigar lover’s dream. If you are a cigar aficionado, or even just a casual smoker, you really should try the cigars from this special line. These two top reviewed contributors have created a truly unique line of cigars here. Please let us know what you think in a review.
