Conventionally known for their European-style Export cigars, Villiger has been making significant strides in recent years to enter the humidors of traditional premium cigar enthusiasts. There is perhaps no better example of such efforts as the Villiger TAA Exclusive 2022 cigar, which sees the brand partnering with Erik Espinosa and his beloved La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Villiger is one of roughly a dozen manufacturers to offer an exclusive TAA cigar for 2022, which can only be sold through retailers that are members of the Tobacconists' Association of America. For this limited-edition project, Villiger showcases a dark and flavorful experience, making use of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder from the Jalapa region, and fillers of Estelí Corojo and Jalapa Criollo.
What does the Villiger TAA Exclusive 2022 cigar taste like?
Rolled in a singular 6" x 52 box-pressed toro format, the Villiger TAA Exclusive 2022 cigar is medium to full in body, sinking into the palate with rich flavors of fresh-tilled soil, chicory coffee, molasses bread, and a unique Mexican mole note.
