Nearly a decade after introducing the popular Sobremesa cigar, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust's owner and founder, Steve Saka, decided to give the line a subtle refresh by rebranding it as Sobremesa Solita. This was due to the expansion of the Sobremesa line over the years, helping to distinguish the original blend with the "Solita" identifier. The name is Spanish for Little Sun, alluding to the cigar's sun-grown wrapper.
The Sobremesa Solita Robusto cigar maintains the high quality and craftsmanship associated with the brand. Crafted at the renowned Joya de Nicaragua factory in Nicaragua, the Robusto features a sun-grown Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Mexican Matacapan Negro de Temporal binder, and a mix of Nicaraguan GK Condega C-SG, Pueblo Nuevo Criollo, La Joya Estelí C-98, ASP Estelí Hybrid Ligero, and Pennsylvania-grown Broadleaf ligero fillers. Each element is carefully selected to deliver a rich and well-balanced smoking experience.
What does the Sobremesa Solita Robusto cigar taste like?
Sized at 5¼" x 52, the Sobremesa Solita Robusto offers a medium-full intensity with a complex and satisfying flavor profile. Expect robust notes of earth, toasted oak, leather, and a generous dose of mocha. This size is ideal for those seeking a high-quality smoking experience without the commitment of a longer cigar, being well-balanced and highly flavorful—a true modern classic.
