Shipping & Returns

Payless will not be held responsible for UPS and USPS errors, or other delays out of our control. Specifically, Payless shall not be liable for any interruption of delivery service due to a cause beyond its control, including but not limited to, the absence of a person or the refusal of such person of accepting the delivery of the shipment, demure due to the consignee, force majeure, action of the public authorities, real or apparent authority over the facilities, action or omissions of the public customs authorities or the like, riots, strikes, or other labor disputes, public disturbances, factors that disrupts the air and ground transportation systems such as weather conditions and natural disasters, and an act of God.

Shipping Policy

  • No minimum order required
  • We offer Free Shipping in the Continental U.S. via UPS on all orders totaling $200 or more (excludes Alaska and Hawaii).
  • All orders that include humidors will be shipped via UPS Ground. Any other option may require additional shipping charges.
  • All in stock orders will be processed the same day (Monday through Friday).
  • Orders being shipped via US Postal Service must be received before 2 P.M. EST, subject to availability.
  • Orders being shipped via UPS must be received before 3 P.M. EST, subject to availability.
  • All orders being shipped to a post office box, must be shipped via US Postal Service. UPS will not deliver to a post office box.
  • All orders being shipped to a US Military base or diplomatic office must be shipped via US Postal Service.
  • All UPS shipments will require an adult (21+) signature
  • Economy Shipping $8.99, shipped via UPS and usually finished by USPS
  • UPS Ground $11.99 flat rate
  • USPS Priority Mail $13.99 flat rate. Priority Mail is 2-3 day shipping but is not guaranteed.
  • UPS Next Day and 2nd day available upon request.
  • There will be an additional charge when shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
  • UPS does not include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as shipping days.
  • USPS does not include Sundays and holidays, as shipping days.
  • The Customer assumes liability for the risk of loss during transport and shipment.
  • Ownership of all Merchandise passes from Payless Cigars and Pipes to the Customer in New Port Richey, FL and the Customer takes all responsibility for the shipment. By arranging for transportation of the goods, Payless Cigars and Pipes is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of Customer
  • Due to new shipping restrictions from UPS, all filtered and small cigars must be shipped via US Postal Service. These include the brands: Al Capone, Captain Black, Djarum, King Edward, Lex 12, Middleton Black & Mild, Panter, Primetime, SF Filtered Cigars, Swisher Sweets, Talon, and Winchester.
  • Due to shipping restrictions from UPS, all shipments using UPS require an adult signature of a person age 21 and over. UPS will make 3 attempts at delivery and signature before the package is automatically returned. If the package is returned, an additional shipping charge will be collected for a new shipment to be made. Refunds on orders returned will be refunded less actual shipping cost.

Return Policy

  • You may return your order to us within 15 days of receipt, for a refund, credit, or exchange. Before doing so please contact us at 888-477-7405, to let us know the product you are returning and why.
  • For cigars by the bundle or box of 20 cigars or more, if you try 1 cigar and return the remainder, you will receive full merchandise credit, less shipping charges. If you try more than 1, a prorated credit will be applied, less shipping charges.
  • For cigars by the bundle or box of less than 20 cigars, a prorated credit will be applied based on quantity returned, less shipping charges.
  • For samplers, 5-packs, and general merchandise, returns must be in unopened packaging to receive a full credit, less shipping charges.
  • Pipes you may return your order to us for any reason within 15 days of receipt, for a refund, credit, or exchange. Only unsmoked pipes are eligible for return, less shipping charges. If there is a defect in a smoked pipe, we will help you with a return or replacement in a case by case basis. 
  • Pipe tobacco you may return your order to us for any reason within 15 days of receipt, for a refund, credit, or exchange, less shipping charges. Only pipe tobacco with unopened packaging are eligible for return. 
  • If you received the incorrect pipe tobacco or it is not manufactured correctly please contact us at 888-477-7405, and we will assist you with a refund, credit, or exchange.
