San Cristobal Quintessence is among the latest offerings from Ashton and their close relationship with the famed García family (of My Father Cigars fame). For Quintessence, the cigars dial in at medium-full in body; placing the cigars firmly between the full-bodied San Cristobal (original) and the medium-bodied San Cristobal Revelation.

The blend boasts an all-Nicaraguan filler/binder recipe, sourced from tobaccos grown on the García's own farms throughout Nicaragua. This is finished with a rich and oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf. The resulting profile showcases the tremendous talents of Jose “Pepin” García and his son Jaime, offering complexities of leather, pour-over coffee, brown sugar, sweet molasses, and dried fruits on the finish.
