Roma Craft Intemperance EC XVIII is the yin to the Intemperance BA XXI's yang, offering a smooth and mild character with a maintained focus on flavor. The cigar is named for 1920s prohibition, where the temperance movement inspired the 18th Amendment to the Constitution, leading to the prohibition of liquor in 1920. With Intemperance, RoMa Craft acknowledges the parallels between the outlook of alcohol in the early 20th century, and premium cigars in the 21st century.
Despite being rolled in a notoriously mild Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper (hence the "EC" in the cigar's title), the Intemperance EC XVIII is much fuller in flavor than Connecticuts of old... This golden-hued wrapper is joined by a diverse filler, including an Indonesian binder and fillers of both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. This high-grade concoction displays a mild strength and medium body, with much more flavor than previously thought possible in a Connecticut! Expect notes of peanut butter, creamy coffee, cedar, black tea, Nutella, and caramel.
