Rocky Patel's legendary Vintage Series explores heirloom wrapper selections, from Broadleaf and Sumatra, to Connecticut, Cameroon, and San Andrés. Each cigar in the collection is draped in its namesake leaf, stemming from vintage harvests that range from 1990 to 2006.
The Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Sumatra was the second cigar added to the collection, making use of a 10-year-old Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper when it first launched in 2002 (continuously using a 10-year-aged wrapper to this day). This leaf surrounds a Nicaraguan tobacco binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Together, these select ingredients combine to showcase a sophisticated persona with a medium-bodied backbone. The flavors in this cigar are gentle and smooth, revealing a velvety texture and long-lasting nuances of caramel-drizzled coffee, milk chocolate, aromatic cabinet spices, oak, and oily anise and citrus zest.
This is a must-try if you are a cigar lover, interested in vintage lines. If you are a cigar aficionado or just a casual smoker, please review these cigars, and let us know what you think. We try hard to collect reviews from our customers, so that other customers can share your experiences, and learn about how they compare to their own cigar preferences!
