As Rocky Patel has done in years past, the company introduced a new blend to commemorate a milestone birthday for the man himself, Rocky Patel. Born in 1961, the Sixty by Rocky Patel cigar was introduced in 2021 in celebration of his 60th birthday.
Building on the line, RP showcased a new and exclusive version in 2023, being sold only through retailers that are members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA). Each year, roughly a dozen of the industry's top manufacturers gather together, launching new sizes or blends for the TAA Exclusive Series. In 2023, Rocky showed off the Sixty by Rocky Patel Bala cigar, which features the Sixty blend in a new 5¾" x 58/50 perfecto size, forgoing the box-press found on the standard Sixty line.
