After the tremendous success of Rocky Patel's 50th birthday cigar release—appropriately dubbed Rocky Patel Fifty—the man decided not to wait for the next major milestone, instead following the cigar with another release only five years later... why keep us waiting forever, right?

Rocky Patel Fifty-Five not only celebrates Rocky's birthday, but every cigar in the lineup has been rolled with a 55 ring gauge—clever! Unlike the Fifty, the updated Fifty-Five cigar is made continuously, rolled in small batches at Rocky's boutique "TAVICUSA" factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The blend begins with all-Nicaraguan fillers and is bound with an Ecuadorian Habano leaf; this is finished with a dark, maroon-hued Nicaraguan wrapper. As an added gift to enthusiasts, each size features a shapely figurado-style head and foot (allowing for evolution in flavor, among other benefits). The cigars are medium-plus in body, showing luxurious flavors of rich hardwoods, sourdough bread, cabinet spices, espresso powder, and licorice.
