Quesada Reserva Privada was released in early 2015, marking (perhaps) Quesada's most "stacked" blend to date.
This is a cigar that Master Blender Manuel "Manolo" Quesada, Jr. himself described as "the best blend of my life." This is quite the statement, coming from one of the most highly regarded tobaccomen of our time.
But the blend speaks for itself, boasting the usage of a near-perfect crop of San Vicente tobaccos from 1997. These well-aged tobaccos have been used in conjunction with a hearty Pennsylvania ligero leaf (in the filler), and are also incorporated into the cigar's binder. The finishing touch is a seamless Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, providing the perfect balance of strength, complexity, and smoothness in the final smoking profile. Expect refined nuanced of table cream, black tea, honey, yeasty bread, vanilla, amaretto, and much more.
