Introducing the Punch Spring Roll cigar, the latest limited edition offering in Punch's Chinese New Year series. Handmade at the HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras, this cigar is a five-country blend featuring filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico and the USA, being housed in a USA Broadleaf binder and finished with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper.
The Punch Spring Roll cigar follows former cigars in the series, such as the original Punch Egg Roll (2019), the followup Chop Suey (2020), the Kung Pow! (2021), and last year's Fu Manchu (2022). As with former releases, the cigar takes on a clever packaging approach, being made to mimic classic Chinese takeout. The cigars also feature limited edition graphics that include the release year (2023) and the "Year of the Rabbit" zodiac symbol.
What does the Punch Spring Roll cigar taste like?
Rolled in a single 4½" x 50 short robusto format, the Punch Spring Roll cigar's smoking experience is richly spiced with notes of leather and a natural sweetness. Punch Spring Roll is an excellent choice to usher in the Year of the Rabbit, offering a satisfying smoking experience at a price point that hits the post-holiday sweet spot for cigar lovers (about time!). Expect a medium to medium-plus intensity, hitting notes of earth, foreign spice, classic leather, and touches of natural sweetness through the finish.
