Punch Grand Cru dials back the strength of the brand's notoriously bold, Honduran character; instead focusing on finesse and delicate complexity.

The cigars were created by industry legend Frank Llaneza (the man often credited for launching cigar making in Honduras) in 1994 as an attempt to showcase a more Cubanesque experience for the connoisseur. Frank and his team of artisans at the famed HATSA factory (aka STG Danlí) incorporated an incredibly diverse selection of tobaccos to accomplish the task; this included tobaccos from a whopping five countries!

Punch Grand Cru's showpiece is its golden-hued wrapper; this originates from Ecuador and is a shade-grown Connecticut-seed varietal. In contrast, the binder is Connecticut Broadleaf, known for its rich and gritty characteristics. Finally, the filler originates from Honduras, Nicaragua, and Dominican Republic (each aged a minimum of three years), adding a tremendous amount of depth to the overall blend. Smokers can expect a mild-to-medium body, loaded with silky smooth nuances of wheat, light-roast coffee, nougat, citrus, and sweet dried fruit.
