Perdomo Cigars consistently ranks among the top 5 best-selling cigar brands in the country. They combine quality craftsmanship with surprisingly affordable price points to offer unparalleled value for the flavor-craved cigar enthusiast.
Silvio Perdomo, who learned the craft of cigarmaking in Cuba during the 1930s, founded Perdomo Cigars. Silvio's son, Nicholas Perdomo Sr., continued in his father's footsteps, joining Silvio as an executive at the famed Partagas factory. But the father-son duo were strong opponents of communist revolutionaries, later emigrating to Miami and escaping execution at the hands of communist forces.
As Nick's operation grew, he expanded into the now-dominant region of Nicaragua, bringing Nicholas Perdomo Sr. on board for his invaluable expertise. The company was renamed Perdomo Cigars, along with other strategic moves that would elevate the family-owned operation into one of the best-selling cigar brands in the world. They launched an expansion to become completely vertically integrated, building out one of the largest factories in Nicaragua, and setting up multiple tobacco farms throughout the three primary growing regions of the country, also creating their own tobacco curing and fermentation facilities, and their own packaging and box factory, and much more. Perdomo Cigars is capable of controlling every aspect of the cigarmaking craft and this is a large part of their magic.
Perdomo Cigars is also a pioneer in the realm of barrel fermentation, processing its tobacco in spent bourbon barrels for a secondary fermentation that adds a signature complexity to Perdomo's cigars.
