Padrón Family Reserve No. 50 Maduro was released in 2014 to celebrate the company's monumental 50th anniversary. The cigars are thicker than the standard robusto, sized four points above the standard 50 gauge. This makes for slightly less body than the cigar's toro counterpart, showing softer notes through a voluminous smoke output. Expect a medium-plus body and rich flavors of oak, coffee beans, toasted nuts, dark cocoa beans, fresh soil, and aged tobacco.
Padrón Family Reserve No. 50 Maduro was ranked as Cigar Aficionado's No. 7 Cigar of the Year in 2014.
