In the years since the original My Father cigar's 2008 debut, the company has grown tremendously, earning its fair share of accolades along the way (including a staggering TWO Cigar of the Year awards!). Cigar smokers have come to associate the My Father name with high-quality performance, leading the García family (owners of My Father) to expand on the series, offering a wide range of smoking styles for a wide range of palates.

In 2016, the Garcías launched My Father The Judge as the fourth blend in the My Father collection, boasting a vintage appearance, a new wrapper, and large-gauge formats (which has since expanded to include thinner gauges). The Judge draws inspiration from a close friend of the Garcías, who is, in fact, a judge. To embody the man, the Garcías crafted an all-Nicaraguan core, featuring a double binder of Corojo and Criollo, as well as Nicaraguan fillers grown on the Garcías' farms throughout the country. Topping off the blend is a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra oscuro wrapper. Together, these leaves combine to produce a fuller-bodied My Father smoking experience, offering a voluminous smoke with highlight characteristics of rich leather, toasted caramel, smoked hardwoods, chocolate, and zesty pepper spice.
