After debuting the Macanudo Inspirado line exclusively to the European market in 2014, parent company, General Cigar Co., soon realized they had a hit on their hands. Inspirado migrated to the States in 2016, boasting a bright and vibrant look to help modernize the brand, and a flavor profile to match.
The cigars have proved such a hit that the line has now expanded to include a whopping FIVE different varieties (Inspirado Orange, White, Black, Red, and Green). This growth prompted this, the original Macanudo Inspirado, to be renamed Macanudo Inspirado Orange, so as to differentiate the cigar among the pack. The Orange is rolled at the HATSA factory in Honduras, making use of a zesty Honduran San Agustín wrapper, Honduran binder, and a diverse filler recipe from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
Macanudo Inspirado Orange is a bright and lively cigar, offering an easily approachable medium body and flavors of citrus, clean cedar, toasted nuts, and nutmeg.
