In the modern era of Macanudo, the brand's Inspirado collection reigns supreme. This contemporary series began outside the US with what is now known as the Inspirado Orange, and has since expanded to include eight releases (two of which are limited edition).
The latest to join the limited side of Inspirado is the Macanudo Inspirado Jamao cigar, which highlights an experimental/proprietaary tobacco (where the cigar gets its name) from their farms of Northwestern Dominican Republic. This Jamao wrapper takes its hybrid name from Jamastran and Mao, as it was engineered by transporting a Habano seed from Jamastran, Honduras to Mao, DR. This unique leaf surrounds a Honduran binder and fillers of Honduras, Nicaragua, and the DR.
What does the Macanudo Inspirado Jamao cigar taste like?
Handcrafted at the famed General Cigar Dominicana factory in Santiago, DR, the Inspirado Jamao cigar was blended to highlight the cigar's special wrapper component. This makes for a medium-bodied experience, loaded with rich and creamy complexities of clean cedar, sweet earth, buttered nuts, and an herbal, lightly salty finish.
