Macanudo debuted the green-themed Macanudo Inspirado Green line of cigars in 2020 as the fifth cigar in the popular Macanudo Inspirado Series (following the Inspirado Orange, Black, White, and Red releases). For Macanudo Inspirado Green, the color nods at the green-covered landscapes of South America, where two of the cigar's tobaccos originate. Indeed, Brazilian and Colombian tobacco leaves serve as the cigar's foundation, being joined by Indonesia and the Dominican Republic to offer smokers a tremendously diverse recipe. Brazilian Arapiraca maduro serves as the wrapper, with an Indonesian binder and fillers of the DR and Colombia. The result is a medium-bodied performance with dark flavors that hover around characteristics of earthy sweetness and black pepper. These primary flavors are backed by complexities of mineral, charred oak, peppered steak, and dark-roast coffee.
