Best known as La Palina Kill Bill TXX, the cigar's official title is La Palina KB 2022 TAA Exclusive. La Palina has long been a participant in the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA) and their annual Exclusive Series program, where roughly a dozen manufacturers showcase limited cigars that can only be sold by tobacconists that are TAA members.
While La Palina has been known to showcase a new Color Series cigar with each year's TAA release, their 2022 TAA cigar instead turns to the recently overhauled Kill Bill line. This is where the cigar gets its unusual "TXX" name, as the cigar's gritty visuals picture the "A"s of "TAA" crossed out.
What does the La Palina Kill Bill TXX cigar taste like?
The La Palina Kill Bill TXX cigar makes use of the same tobacco recipe found on the standard Kill Bill line, including a Honduran Corojo wrapper, a double binder of Honduran Criollo, and fillers of Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo. However, proportions of these tobaccos are said to be altered, making for a fun twist on a familiar flavor profile. The cigars are rolled in a unique 6" x 52 diadema size that boasts a traditional cap and a tapered foot. This amounts to a medium-full intensity, offering concentrated flavors of oak, cabinet spices, toasted rye bread, and zesty nutmeg.
