La Galera is the premium brand from Tabacalera Palma, with the name (translating to mean The Gallery) being in reference to the rolling floor at the Tabacalera Palma factory. Owned by renowned Master Blender José "Jochy" Blanco, Tabacalera Palma is among the oldest in the Dominican Republic, dating back more than 80 years.

With La Galera Maduro, Jochy has selected Piloto Cubano and Criollo ‘98 tobaccos to be used in the filler, grown on Blanco's Jacagua and Gurabo farms. This high-grade filler is then secured in a Piloto Cubano binder and finalized with the cigar's signature ingredient—a dark San Andrés maduro wrapper. Combined, the blend creates tremendous harmony, bringing balanced complexities that will satisfy seasoned and entry-level smokers alike. This includes highlight characteristics of deep cinnamon, earth, cacao nibs, leather, and espresso.
