La Galera Cigars is the creation of famed artisan José "Jochy" Blanco, being named after The Gallery floor of his Tabacalera Palma factory in the Dominican Republic. It is here that his tireless efforts of tobacco farming, processing, and sorting finally materialize, bringing his vision to life for cigar fanatics across the world.
Six years after debuting, La Galera Cigars introduced the La Galera Imperial Jade as their sixth release. This cigar makes use of authentic Cameroon tobacco from the Central African Republic; this is a finicky seed that is difficult to work with, but produces tremendous results when executed properly. With the thin and toothy leaf displayed as the wrapper, the cigar also offers Dominican-grown Criollo (binder) and fillers of Piloto Cubano and Criollo '98 from Jochy's fields of the DR.
