When Jose Arnaldo Blanco III, or "Jochy" Blanco, purchased IndianHead Cigars in late 2015, he wasted no time expanding the brand with its first premium-geared line. La Galera Cigars was born and, for Jochy, owner of Tabaclera Palma (a prodigious factory in the Dominican Republic), it made sense that he had his own brand to play with. Tabaclera Palma has been around since 1936, making it one of the oldest in the Dominican and one of the most well known worldwide.

The La Galera Habano has a beautiful, classically styled gold band around an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The binder and filler for the La Galera Habano are sourced from farms also owned by Jochy Blanco. This personal touch can be tasted with the medium body and strength profile that compliment notes of oak and walnut.
