JFR XT Corojo is a price-conscious offering with some kick, crafted in Estelí by Aganorsa Leaf; i.e. one of the largest and most respected growers of Nicaraguan premium tobacco in existence.
The cigar's mysteriously codified name can be broken down as such: JFR (Just for Retailers) is a line originally intended for brick and mortar retailers only; XT signifies the line's amped-up profile and box-pressed shape; finally, Corojo represents the cigar's Cuban-seed wrapper.
As with all JFR cigars, the JFR XT Corojo manages to deliver extreme value to the smoking enthusiast through the use of simplistic packaging, large ring gauges (up to 7" x 70!), and Aganorsa Leaf's prized Nicaraguan tobaccos. The blend is Nicaraguan through and through, featuring a vibrant Corojo-seed leaf as the finishing touch. In addition, the XT Corojo has been expertly rolled in a stunning box-pressed shape, boasting a pigtail cap and closed foot. From the outset, the cigar has the look of something twice its modest price point! And the smoking experience follows through, offering an amped-up, medium/full body, backed by rich flavors of fresh cedar, zesty cabinet spices, toffee candy, sourdough bread, and salty peanuts.
