The Garagiste became a mainstay in the Illusione Cigars lineup in 2016. Dion Giolito, owner of Illusione, worked with the world–renowned TABSA factory in Nicaragua to bring the Garagiste to life.

Garagiste is a French word that translates to mechanic in English. This cigar is dedicated to the beloved “garage wine” producers of the Bordeaux region of France.

The blend features a Capa Fina Grade AAA Colorado Habano Ecuadorian wrapper, along with Nicaraguan binder and fillers, including Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99. The flavor profile is filled with notes of rich coffee, bittersweet chocolate, nuts, earth, and a red pepper spice. Like all of Dion’s blends, the Garagiste is well-balanced and supremely complex.
