In 2016, cigar enthusiasts were treated to a special creation within Drew Estate's Herrera Esteli collection: Herrera Esteli Miami. With Herrera Esteli being the brainchild of Master Blender, Willy Herrera, it was only logical that he return to his cigar-blending roots. Indeed, Herrera traveled back to the small neighborhood of Miami known as Little Havana, where his family's highly respected El Titan de Bronze factory has operated for decades. Alas, the Herrera Esteli Miami was limited in production, and hobbyists were left in a state of limbo following the cigar's limited run... until 2018, when Drew Estate brought the blend back for good!
El Titan de Bronze is known among cigar fanatics as a hidden gem of sorts, consistently churning out some of the most quality cigars in the world. The boutique-style factory only employs category-9 cigar rollers—a Cuban classification that designates the highest level a torcedor can attain. These artisans use traditional Cuban techniques such as entubado bunching, triple caps, and more; such high attention to detail translates to a superior smoking experience on par with Cuba's best.
Herrera Esteli Miami boasts a select Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and fillers of both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Now being rolled in small batches on a more consistent basis, the blend has expanded to be offered in five unique sizes. With a meticulous craftsmanship that is second to none, the Herrera Esteli Miami is now the most premium offering in the Herrera Esteli lineup, showcasing concentrated and balanced flavors from start to finish; this includes highly specific nuances of oak, mineral, sweet cedar, caramel, espresso powder, and savory steak.
