Gurkha Real marks the official foray from Gurkha Cigars into the realm of the amped-up Connecticut. What is this style, you ask? It's the modern practice of showcasing fuller experiences of the once-mild Connecticut-wrapped cigars. It doesn't necessarily require the cigars be strong or full in body, but can simply represent a fuller experience in the flavor department.
This is the case with Gurkha Real, which brings forth a medium-light to medium body and loads of creamy flavors from start to finish. The cigars have been built primarily from Dominican tobaccos, including Dominican Criollo '98 ligero and seco primings, as well as Nicaraguan seco in the filler. This core recipe is bound in Dominican Olor and finalized in a bronze-hued Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. This all amounts to a smooth and refined performance that simply cannot go unnoticed. Expect to find flavors of punchy white pepper, later settling into a concoction of table cream, black tea, honey, sweet florals, and buttered nuts.
