Within the Eiroa Cigars collection—a subdivision under C.L.E. Cigar Company—there is the super premium, and then there is an even more elite classification (dare we say, super ultra premium?)... this rare breed is known as Eiroa The First 20 Years.
As with all blends from Eiroa Cigars, The First 20 Years is crafted at the family's Aladino Cigar Factory in Danlí, Honduras (the factory is unique in that it has been converted from an old movie theater of the same name). As the cigar's name alludes, The First 20 Years was crafted to commemorate company owner Christian Eiroa and his first successful 20 years in the cigar industry. To accomplish the feat, Christian has collaborated with his father (Julio Eiroa) to introduce the brand's most premium smoking experience to date. Indeed, Julio Eiroa is well known as one of the best growers of premium tobacco throughout Honduras, and he has given Christian a special selection of tobaccos from his Eiroa Tobacco Farm for this unique blend.
Eiroa The First 20 Years by Eiroa Cigars utilizes 100% Honduran tobaccos, highlighted by well-aged tobaccos (a minimum of four years) from the Eiroa farms of Honduras' Jamastrán Valley. The final product is medium in body and filled with intricate flavor complexities. Expect a balanced concoction of spicy/sweet flavors, such as white and black pepper, freshly cut cedar, raisons, cinnamon, charred oak, and leather.
