Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust is the brainchild of industry guru Steve Saka. Steve had famously left his position as CEO of Drew Estate in 2013, where he'd become aggrandized in the minds of cigar enthusiasts for his role in creating the fan-favorite Liga Privada series at Drew Estate.

When Steve returned to the industry, his focus was on quality and craft, using the motto "Puros Sin Compromiso," translating to "cigars without compromise." To accomplish this, Steve has partnered with some of the most respected cigar factories in Nicaragua, including Joya de Nicaragua (Nicaragua's first cigar factory) and Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A.

Since launching in 2015, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust has taken their time, intently adding one core brand to the company's portfolio each year (as well as additional limited edition projects for the die-hard enthusiasts). With Steve's known style as a "maduro junkie," many of Dunbarton's offerings cater towards deep, dark, and gritty profiles, with smoking experiences ranging from medium (Mi Querida), to medium-plus (Sobremesa), and ultra-full-bodied (Todos Las Dias).
