Short, stout, and shapely, the pig has since expanded to many of the company's most beloved offerings, including the award-winning. Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo cigar.
With this special release, Drew Estate builds on the Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo blend, which features a special Corojo leaf grown in the famed Connecticut River Valley. A thick and oily tobacco, this leaf requires years of fermentation to bring out its full potential. Underneath the hood, you will find a Mexican San Andrés negro binder and hearty fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Pennsylvania.
What does the Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Flying Pig cigar taste like?
It's a size that's as recognizable as its unusual name: the legendary Flying Pig! Sized at 3 15/16" x 60, the size was reportedly named after a unique shape found in a salesman's catalog for a Tampa-based cigar factory in the 1800s. It's short, it's fat, and it's a figurado, meaning it tapers at each end. Additionally, the cigars feature an exaggerated pigtail cap, making for a truly unique experience. In the H99 blend, the Flying Pig is big in texture and body, offering a full intensity and stick-to-your-ribs flavors of smoked hickory, brown sugar, salted beef jerky, and stone fruit through the finish... enjoy!
