For 2020, Aganorsa Leaf introduces the Casa Fernandez Aniversario Cuban 109 Maduro. This special release incorporates all-Nicaraguan tobaccos grown on the famed AGANORSA farms throughout Nicaragua. The blend's finishing touch is a proprietary shade-grown Corojo maduro wrapper leaf, allowing for a darker variation on Aganorsa's signature Cuban-esque smoking character. Only 250 boxes of 10 cigars have been rolled, with the entire allotment being crafted by a single torcedor in Aganorsa's boutique-style factory in Miami. The cigars boast a unique Cuban-style 109 head (feeling like a more rounded belicoso) and box-pressed shape. The final experience exudes top-tier craftsmanship, showing a beautiful presentation, flawless construction, and medium-to-full-bodied flavors of oak, chocolate graham crackers, molasses bread, black pepper, and touches of cinnamon.
