Following in the footsteps of CAO's wildly popular (and award-winning) Flathead cigars, which were designed to appeal to vintage car and hot rod fanatics, the brand has now expanded to include motorcycle enthusiasts with the CAO Flathead Steel Horse.
Keeping with the Flathead's signature flat cap, the Steel Horse follows suit, only these biker-themed smokes have been rolled in rounded shapes (differing from the box-pressed look of the original Flathead). The blend has changed as well, replacing the dark Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper with a proprietary leaf known as Connecticut Habano Grueso. The cigar is built from a diverse range of tobaccos, using a Brazilian Arapiraca binder and fillers of Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. This results in a smooth and easy-riding (medium-bodied) experience, loaded with nuances of white pepper, raisins, freshly roasted coffee beans, and plenty of cedar.
