The Blind Man's Bluff collection has come a long way since being debuted by Caldwell Cigar Company at the industry's annual trade show in 2015. The cigar was differentiated through the use of strictly A and B-Grade tobaccos throughout, while managing to offer an affordable price range.
The line expanded to include the Blind Man's Bluff Connecticut two years later, and the Blind Man's Bluff Maduro two years after that. This flavor-forward collection now offers a smoking profile for nearly all palates. With the Blind Man's Bluff Maduro, the cigars move production from Honduras to the Dominican Republic, being handled at the boutique-minded Tabacalera William Ventura factory. In addition, the blend has been tweaked further than the previous two BMB iterations. This begins with an all-Dominican filler, which is bound in a new Sumatra leaf and finalized in a Pennsylvania-grown maduro wrapper. This combination results in a body that is medium to medium-plus in intensity, revealing heavy flavors of black pepper, toasted oak, baker's cocoa, mineral-rich soil, and dark fruit jam.
