In the ten years since launching Black Label Trading Company (BLTC), co-owner/founder James Brown has garnered quite the loyal cigar following, releasing heavy-hitting release after release, perhaps most notably including the beloved Bishops Blend cigar.
Helping to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary in 2023, Black Label (BLTC) introduced the Bishops Blend Novemdiales cigar as a tweaked version of the original. This is best evidenced through the wrapper component, which swaps the Ecuadorian maduro of the original for a gritty Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. The remainder of the blend includes an Ecuadorian Habano binder and fillers of Nicaragua, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut Broadleaf, being described as an amped-up take on the original recipe.
What does the BLTC Bishops Blend Novemdiales Toro cigar taste like?
The BLTC Bishops Blend Novemdiales Toro cigar is rolled in a slim 6" x 48 toro format, offering a concentrated smoke output and long smoking sessions of an hour and a half. This size brings focus to the cigar's signature Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, lighting up with a medium-full (or perhaps full) body and hitting maduro-centric flavors of black pepper, fresh-tilled soil, charred oak, and semi-sweet chocolate bar through the finish.
