Whether you know it or not, you may be more familiar with the Asylum 867 Zero cigar than first meets the eye. You see, due one reason or another, the Asylum 867 Zero was once known as Chasing The Dragon: Zero. The cigars have now been redesigned and re-packaged, though the smoking experience remains the same!
The Asylum 867 Zero cigar is joined by sister blends Auntie and Midnight Oil, with each unique blend boasting bold color schemes to differentiate between the blends. With this project, founders Christian Eiroa and Tom Lazuka show off their spin on flavored premium cigar experiences, using a previously unheard-of technique of tobacco steeping (we'll let that all-too-secretive description play out in your head).
What does the Asylum 867 Zero cigar taste like?
Donning vibrant red bands and sleeves, the Asylum 867 Zero cigar is quick to stand out in the humidor. The cigars are sized in the 50-gauge ballpark, offering a balanced smoking experience with a lingering sweetness from the lightly sweetened cap. Juicy flavors abound, boasting a premium core that makes for a medium intensity and an atypical profile of sweet cola, infused tea, and chocolate cordial.
