In 2016, Ventura Cigar Company unveiled their Archetype series—an eye-catching collection that has gone on to become among the company’s most sought-after cigar brands.
Archetype is inspired by the work of psychologist Dr. Carl Jung and mythographer Joseph Campbell, who defined ‘archetypes’ as the constantly repeating characters who occur in the dreams of all people and the myths of all cultures.
The Archetype series consists of two categories: Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Chapter 1 cigars are produced at Davidoff’s facilities in the Dominican Republic, while Chapter 2 cigars are rolled at Drew Estate’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Among the Chapter 2 cigars is Archetype Initiation, a savory blend that focuses on enhanced aromas and zesty complexities. Initiation is made at Drew Estate’s renowned factory in Estelí, using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder, and Nicaraguan Habano fillers. This “Habano-seed puro” is loaded with classic flavors of sage, citrus, white pepper, medium-roast coffee, and sweet dried fruit. This is a medium-bodied smoking experience that will entertain the palate time and time again!
