The Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf cigar is the third release under the company's newfound Experimental Series, which kicked off with the Project 40 in 2019 and expanded with the Project 40 Maduro in 2020.
Each release in the series allows Ale Bradley room to play with new styles, tobaccos, factories, and more. For the Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf cigar, the AB boys introduce a proprietary Honduran Broadleaf tobacco, which was transported from the Connecticut River Valley of the US and adapted to the soil of Honduras. When the leaf was ready for production, it was found to be too tasty to only use for the wrapper, instead making its way into the binder as well!
What does the Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf cigar taste like?
The Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf cigar begins with the signature Honduran-grown Broadleaf maduro wrapper, continuing along with a double binder of Honduran Broadleaf and Nicaragua as well as fillers of Nicaragua and Honduras. The resulting cigar is among the most punchy and gritty showcased by Alec Bradley to date, offering full-bodied flavors of earth, black pepper, brownie batter, and rich mocha.
