The Keo #1 Acid Kuba Arte is a 5 13/16” x 54 limited edition torpedo cigar wrapped in a lush Broadleaf maduro capa, bright Indonesian binder, and a blend of hearty Nicaraguan fillers. All of the KUBA ARTE cigars are housed in a distinctive water-tower shaped humidor, that is decorated with colorful, graffiti-inspired artwork, reminiscent of the early days of the Drew Estate's Acid line, but also possibly a nod to the artwork that might be spotted in the streets of a Cuban city. This particular water-tower-shaped cigar container is designed by a Brooklyn-based graffiti artist known as SCOTCH70, a.k.a KEO_XMEN on Instagram. It is decorated with street art that features a yellow sun beating down on an intimidating-looking, blond-haired military man with a cigar in his mouth - and the word 'ACID' spelled out in green and yellow graffiti lettering behind him.
This uniquely designed cigar box is something emblematic of Drew Estate's creativity, artistic sensibilities, and nuance. The graffitied water-tower humidor holds 20 amazing cigars, and Its colorful, dynamic, and sometimes frenetic illustration is meant to evoke feelings of a casual and loose, unencumbered lifestyle, full of motion and excitement. The colorful designs are even carried through in the decorative edges of the cigar band, echoing the fact that this is no ordinary cigar! These cigars and their special water-tower holder have only been made as a Limited Edition, and the Keo #1 is especially memorable.
