From the 601 series to the 601 La Bomba to the 601 La Bomba Warhead, Espinosa Premium Cigars keeps dialing up the intensity, pushing the boundaries of what full bodied means for the modern era!
Originally debuting in 2013, the Warhead cigar is now in its eighth iteration: the Espinosa 601 La Bomba Warhead VIII cigar. With each release, the tobacco recipe remains, making use of an especially dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper and pairing the leaf with high-priming binder/fillers of Nicaragua. To distinguish each limited-edition release, Espinosa showcases new color schemes throughout the cigar's beloved box and bands—which are made to resemble WWII aircraft "shark face" artwork.
What does the 601 La Bomba Warhead VIII cigar taste like?
The 601 La Bomba Warhead VIII cigar is rolled at A.J. Fernández's northernmost San Lotano factory, being sized in the series' largest format to date: 6" x 60 gordo. This beefy format will smoke for two hours, unloading with extremely full-bodied characteristics of gritty earth, baker's cocoa, black licorice, and punchy black pepper—a dream smoke for the maduro fanatic!
