601 La Bomba was introduced at the tail end of 2011, marking the split of EO Brands and the eventual debut of Erik Espinosa's (co-owner of EO Brands) self-titled Espinosa Premium Cigars company in 2012. The cigars followed in the footsteps of other 601 cigars (601 Blue Label, 601 Red Label, etc.), but the blend differentiated itself with a high-octane smoking experience—one that would push the boundaries, even for experienced enthusiasts!
Spanish for "The Bomb," 601 La Bomba makes use of an all-Nicaraguan blend, topped with an oily Nicaraguan Habano leaf. The cigars are finished with a long, eye-catching pigtail cap that runs the length of the cigar—having the look of a bomb fuse. The blend is boosted through the use of extra ligero (aka the strongest tobacco priming) tobacco in the filler, giving the cigars their notoriously explosive character!
Expect a full strength/body, loaded with notes of zesty cabinet spices, earth, nicotine, menthol, leather, and sweet dark chocolate.
